Terminal and warehouse complexes (TWC) are an integral part in multimodal transportation. TWC act as connecting points for transportation on different types of transport. In addition, the main functions of container terminals include: acceptance and dispatch of goods in wagons, containers and vehicles, inspection of the integrity of equipment, loading and unloading operations, loading empty containers, storage of loaded and empty containers, including specialized ones.
